A truly sunny team dinner - Summer 2022

A team meal already on the 2nd working day? It doesn't get any better than that! I've been working at the STZ-RIM in Karlsruhe since July, and admittedly, after a few weeks of air between the two jobs, it's hard to get started.

How the team meal contributed to a good start

I was very pleased with the warm welcome that I received. Prof. Dr. Jörg W. Fischer and also the employees of the RIM. My second working day was already highly complex. A seven-hour in-house workshop presented me with great challenges, but the team's clear explanations immediately cleared up some of the question marks. My head was correspondingly full when I went to the team dinner at 7 p.m. The atmosphere was good. The mood was good, the mild summer evening did the rest and I was able to get to know my colleagues a little better during a relaxed get-together. 

Mr. Fischer is a big fan of team dinners and likes to use them to express his appreciation to his employees. It doesn't feel like work and you immediately get into a more direct exchange. The relaxed atmosphere generates impulse thoughts and new cross-links. It's a nice way to deepen interpersonal conversations and affirm real and personal interest in the other person. I am already looking forward to the next team dinner!
